Haleyisms
Like all children, Haley said some things that captured who she was and her approach to life. When we walked down the corridor of the hospital, I often paused to read a verse that was posted on the hospital school door:
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life…The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.”
Charles Swindoll
That was Haley – she approached life with a positive attitude, even when faced with obstacles. Her memorable words and phrases are what I now call “Haleyisms.” They pop up with regularity in our house and remind me of her optimistic attitude.

Haley was a gracious child, and appreciated small kindnesses throughout her life.
Plenty to See Here!
Attending her first EE Football Team game was an adventure for Haley, and it wasn’t all about the game!
